 Welcome to Penny Lee Alpacas
It all started in the Summer of 1996. It was then that we first encountered these lovely creatures, and I have to say it was love at first sight. After a year of doing research and visiting several alpaca farms, we decided it was time to take the plunge. So in the Fall of 1997 the humble beginnings of Penny Lee Alpacas began with 2 bred females, and 1 small barn. We would have never guessed back then that 13 years later we would be the oldest operating full-time alpaca farm in Manitoba. Since then our herd has grown to approximately 35 animals and 1 new large barn.
Over those years our main goal has never changed, we want to produce the very best alpacas that we possibly can. We strive for beautiful fine fleeces on well conformed, healthy, beautiful alpacas, but at the same time to never compromise on fertility, good mothering abilities, and milk production.
